Approach
My research started with understanding the company’s philosophy of ‘Industry 4.0’. This no limit, adaptability, and automation approach served as a foundation for my design approach.
I identified a lack of differentiation for spaces and activities. It’s chaotic and emptiness was preventing an efficient use. My solution was to add fixed, dense, elements to clearly mark certain areas and contain the light. Mobile units provide internal flexibility and adapt to the needs of the company.
Areas can be enclosed when needed through an automated slats system, drawing on the company’s technology.
